- Puppy Class:
-Monday July 28th to September 8th, 2008. No class September 1st!
Time: 7 to 8pm..
-Monday July 7 to August 11, 2008
Time: 6 to 7pm..
+Duration: 6 weeks
+Cost: $60.00
+Pre-registration required.
+Other Info: This class is for puppies 5 months of age and under. Each week starts with 15 minutes of puppy social time to interact with other puppies and their owners. We then work on basic obedience exercises including heeling on leash, sit, down stay and come. We also address such puppy issues as biting, chewing, house breaking, crate training and any other issues that need addressing. Class size is typically between 6 and 9 puppies. - Beginner Obedience:
-Tuesday; August 19th to October 7th, 2008.
Time: 8 to 9pm.
- Tuesday; July 22nd to September 9th, 2008.
Time: 7 to 8pm.
+Duration: 8 weeks.
+Cost: $80.00
+Pre-registration required.
+Other Info: This class is for dogs 5 months and older that have not done beginner obedience. Each week we work for an hour with your class on obedience exercises including heeling on leash, figure 8 heeling, sit, down, stay, stand for exam, wait, come, and finish. Class size is typically 8 to 10 dogs. - Novice Obedience:
-Wednesdays from 7 to 8pm.
+Duration: Ongoing, drop in class, come anytime!!
+Cost: $65.00 for block of 8 classes. Single session drop in is $10.00.
+Other Info: This class is structured for dogs and handlers that are preparing to show their dogs for their Companion Dog (CD) title and beyond. We’ll work perfecting your handling and training skills to help you succeed in the show ring. - Open and Utility Obedience:
Day and time:
-Wednesdays, group work (heeling, recalls, stays) start at 7:00 pm combined with the Novice group. We will work on jumps, etc after the Novice group is done.
+Duration: Ongoing.
+Cost: $65.00 for block of 8 classes. Single session drop in is $10.00.
+Other Info: This is an ongoing class designed to help people prepare for competitive obedience and showing for their Companion Dog Excellent (CDX) or Utility Dog (UD) titles.

+ Level 1 Agility : Beginning in May, we are back OUTDOORS!!
+ 8 week class, Wednesday July 9th to August 27th, 2008
+ Cost: $95.00 for 8 weeks!
+ Time: 7:15 to 8:15pm.
+ Class details: Level 1 is geared to safely introduce you and your dog, in a positive manner, to the exciting sport of agility! This class is for all dogs that are physically sound and 10 months or older.
Wear comfortable clothing and bring your dog on a buckle collar and 6 foot leather or nylon leash. Also, bring your dogs favorite toy and a supply of small, soft dog treats for training (i.e. diced hot dogs, jerky treats, etc......)
+ Level 2 Agility :
+ 8 week class, Wednesday July 9th to August 27th, 2008
+ Cost: $85.00 for 8 weeks!
+ Time: 6:00 to 7:00pm.
+ Pre-requisite to enroll in Level 2: Your dog needs to have previously completed at least one session (8 weeks) of agility class.
+ Class details: Level 2 is geared to prepare the dog and handler for the challenges found in running an agility course including: sequencing, basic handling strategies, etc.
+ Wear comfortable clothing and bring your dog on a buckle collar and 6 foot leather or nylon leash. Also, bring your dogs favorite toy and a supply of small, soft dog treats for training (i.e. diced hot dogs, jerky treats, etc......)
+ Level 3 Agility :
+ 8 week class, Thursdays July 10th to August 28th, 2008
+ Cost: $85.00 for 8 weeks!
+ Time: 7:15 to 8:15pm.
+ Pre-requisite to enroll in Level 3: Your dog needs to have completed level 2 agility (16 weeks) and your dog must be able to confidently negotiate all obstacles at regulation standards off leash (only exception being the weave poles).
+ Class details: Level 3 is geared to prepare the dog and handler for the challenges they will face in a competition setting (i.e. body language, basic handling techniques, etc.).
+ Wear comfortable clothing and bring your dog on a buckle collar and 6 foot leather or nylon leash. Also, bring your dogs favorite toy and a supply of small, soft dog treats for training (i.e. diced hot dogs, jerky treats, etc......)
+ Level 4 Agility :
+ 8 week class, Thursdays July 10th to August 28th, 2008
+ Cost: $85.00 for 8 weeks!
+ Time: 6:00 to 7:00pm.
+ Instructor pre-approval is required to enroll in level 4: Please contact us if you feel you should enroll in this level.
+ Class details: Level 4 is geared for the dog/handler teams that are showing or at the showing level. This class will focus on successfully negotiating the sequences faced in competition (i.e. advanced handling techniques and strategies....)
+ Wear comfortable clothing and bring your dog on a buckle collar and 6 foot leather or nylon leash. Also, bring your dogs favorite toy and a supply of small, soft dog treats for training (i.e. diced hot dogs, jerky treats, etc......)
+ Puppy Agility :
+ ONGOING class with no start or end date. Friday nights, Come any time, no need to register!
+ Cost: $12.00 per visit or $65.00 for 6 consecutive weeks.
+ Time: 6:00 to 7:00 pm
+ Class details: Puppy agility will introduce you and your pup to many agility obstacles in a safe manner helping to build overall coordination and confidence. Classes will also cover safe and fun groundwork exercises to help improve the pup/handler bond. This class is for all puppies that are physically sound and 4-9 months of age.
+ Wear comfortable clothing and bring your pup on a buckle collar and 6 foot leather or nylon leash. Also, bring your pups favorite toy and a supply of very small, soft dog treats for training (i.e. diced hot dogs, jerky treats, etc......)
